Working
Meeting, 28th February – 2nd March 2002, Bucharest, Romania
Association DIA-SPORT
was invited to participate in the working meeting between the partners' organisations
held on 28 February 2002 in the conference hall of INIMM in the city of Bucharest,
Romania. This was the first formal meeting within the framework of the project
"Rehabilitation of adults with special needs and their (re)integration
in the productive work - REHA-INPROD" aimed at establishing contacts with
the partners, discussing project organisation, exchanging ideas about development
of a common strategy for planning the activities and tasks allotment. In the
course of the meeting each of the representatives of the partner countries made
a brief presentation of the work of his organisation.
Among
the participants were Prosthesis Production Institute, Romania who presented
the production, type and application of prosthesis for upper limbs, AXOF - a
state institution dealing with the rights of disabled persons, several NGOs,
such as Centrul de zi Aurora, S.S.P.H., H Foundation, APEL - social institutions.
The discussion was concentrated on the social and rehabilitation policy regarding
disabled people, scope and real problems. In the centre of attention of the
participants was set the major issue connected with the access to information
for reintegration in the labour market.
