On
the occasion of this visit we showed our visitors the activities we have developed
for the former street children.They visited three of the buildings where the children stay and the carpentry/ art workshop, where the older children learn a craft. The boys like woodwork very much and we hope that it will help them in the future. We won't forget the garden where we planted vegetables and the workshop where the older girls learn to sew their own clothes.
Afterwards, we had an interactive meeting in which the children and youth learned about Europe and the different culture and customs of our guests. Our visitors spoke to the children about their countries and shared their personal experiences with our kids.
